Polyamide besitzen neben der hohen Festigkeit, Härte und Zähigkeit, ebenso eine hohe Wärmeformbeständigkeit.
Da die guten mechanischen Eigenschaften aber erst nach einer Konditionierung erreicht werden, sollte dieser
Werkstoff nach einer Temperung erneut konditioniert werden. Diese Konditionierung tritt aber auch bei einer
längeren Lagerung in Luft automatisch ein.
• hohe Festigkeit u. Steifigkeit
• hohe Schlag- u. Kerbschlagfestigkeit
• hohe Formbeständigkeit in der Wärme
• hohes Dämpfungsvermögen
• gute Gleit- u. Notlaufeigenschaften
• gute chemische Beständigkeit gegen organische Lösungsmittel, Kraftstoffe
• es müssen Maßänderungen durch Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme berücksichtigt werden
• Beeinflussung der mechanischen u. elektrischen Eigenschaften durch Wasseraufnahme
