Welding mirrors are an inexpensive and flexible introduction to plastic processing and enable simple butt welding of pipes, fittings, profiles and sheet materials.
The different sizes and designs enable flexible and individual use of the handy devices.
All Hand welding mirrors are equipped with PTFE non-stick coated and in round as well as in square shape available.
As standard, they are designed for 230 V, optionally also available for 110 V, in the following sizes.
Round: | Square: |
Ø50 mm | 100 x 150 mm |
Ø90 mm | 150 x 150 mm |
Ø120 mm | 250 x 250 mm |
Ø200 mm | |
Ø250 mm | |
Ø320 mm |

The square welding units are also designed with a beveled top edge for folding sheet material.
An electronic control or control with thermostat, as well as an on/off switch with mains control, indicator light for heating intervals, are integrated in the handle and complete the appliance.
A table mount is included in the scope of delivery, matching cases can be purchased as an option.
Desktop welding mirrors can be swiveled from vertically to horizontally and are supplied with a corresponding substructure .
Here, too, the top edge is beveled to allow bending.
The temperature control is electronic (depending on the model).
The following sizes are available:
Model | Size | Regulation | Volt | Watt | Weight |
TSP 250T | 250 x 250 mm | Thermostat | 230 or 110 | 1400 | 12.0 kg |
TSP 250D | 250 x 250 mm | Electronics | 230 or 110 | 1400 | 12.0 kg |
TSP 350T | 350 x 350 mm | Thermostat | 230 or 110 | 2500 | 17.0 kg |
TSP 350D | 350 x 350 mm | Electronics | 230 or 110 | 2500 | 17.0 kg |
TSP 500T | 500 x 500 mm | Thermostat | 230 or 110 | 3500 | 26.0 kg |
TSP 500D | 500 x 500 mm | Electronics | 230 or 110 | 3500 | 26.0 kg |
For contact-based heating, we also supply custom-made flat welding mirrors up to 3000 mm in length, heating plates and heating strips up to 3000×3200 mm or split ring welding mirrors up to AØ1700 mm for welding district heating jacket pipes in a wide variety of designs and sizes.
The external electronic controls enable maximum precision and flexibility. The high-quality PTFE coating on all sides extends the service life enormously.
The welding mirror is a specialized tool used in plastic welding technology to ensure precise control and focusing of the welding heat .
This device allows welders to control the amount of heat applied to the plastic surfaces to achieve uniform fusion and strong welded joints.
Properties of the welding mirror:
Shape and size:
Depending on the application and welding process, welding mirrors can be available in different shapes and sizes, from round mirrors to rectangular mirrors.
Heat-resistant material:
The surface is made of a heat-resistant material that can withstand the high temperatures of plastic welding.
Handle or holder:
The welding mirror is often equipped with a handle or holder to enable convenient handling and positioning during the welding process.
Functions:
Heat focusing:
The welding mirror concentrates the reflected heat onto the plastic surfaces to be welded to ensure uniform heating and fusion.
Temperature control:
By adjusting the angle of inclination, the welding mirror can influence the temperature control and thus the welding conditions.
Precise welding guidance:
Welders can use the mirror to precisely direct the welding heat and thus ensure accurate guidance during the welding process.
Increased efficiency:
The focusing of the heat by the welding mirror contributes to the efficiency of the welding process, as the energy is directed specifically to the welding zone.
Reduction of welding distortions:
By precisely controlling the application of heat, the welding mirror can help to minimize welding distortion and ensure a high-quality welded joint.
The welding mirror is an essential tool in plastic welding technology that helps to produce high-quality welded joints thanks to its ability to precisely control heat.
