The Quick-L switchable is a compact, lightweight, and user-friendly hot air welding device, specifically developed for tarp processors.
As a variant of the proven Quick-L electronic, this model foregoes the stepless temperature adjustment and instead features two fixed heating levels and an additional cold setting. Since welding of tarps, tents, and awnings often involves only one type of material and a specific welding width, this device offers a simple and efficient solution for the user.
The heating power is optimally matched to the required nozzle attachments: With a 20 mm flat nozzle, it is 900 W at 230 V, while with a 40 mm flat nozzle, it is 1500 W (230 V) or 1300 W (120 V).
As with all our hot gas welding devices, the lifespan of the carbon brushes is 1,500 operating hours. The motor’s collector carbons are replaceable multiple times, allowing for continuous operation. The replacement can be easily done from the outside without opening the device.
Additionally, an automatic shutdown system protects the motor from damage when the brushes are worn out.
